Accounts Receivables Specialist

Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountants Receivables Specialist to join our team. In this essential role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services, providing crucial support to our department in delivering exceptional client service and maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, post and reconcile cash receipts, including lockbox, wires, credit cards and office checks.
  • Apply unallocated cash and oversee client trust accounts, A/R write-offs, and payment reversals.
  • Manage credit card processing and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and provide documentation to support audits.
  • Complete and maintain vendor setup and information forms as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of a fully integrated accounting system. Aderant experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working with AI-assisted posting and accounting technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Outlook and Excel skills.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Preferred international posting experience, but not required.

The hourly rate range for this position is $29.80 - $34.00. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
