THE OPPORTUNITY

Fisher Phillips, an award-winning international employment and labor law firm is seeking a full-time Account Coordinator to support the needs of the firm. In this role, the Account Coordinator will report directly to the Manager of Client Relationships and is mainly responsible for supporting the collection effort of our complex insurance carrier relationships. This position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily review of our clients with insurance relationships, monitoring aged receivables and employing best practices to consistently implement our EPLI collection strategies through written and verbal communications. This position will utilize workflow and quality control techniques to execute assigned tasks. This role will work in conjunction with another Account Coordinator to assist in EPLI collection efforts along with supporting ancillary processes that link the Aderant, BillBlast and ARCs systems to monitor identified EPLI and PEO clients. This position can be performed hybrid/remote based out of the Atlanta office and will need to be available to work during standard business hours. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for taking appropriate collection remedies to maintain acceptable collection ratios within our EPLI / PEO client base. These efforts may involve collaboration with other collectors and or billers within the department.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient collection cycles, reducing the average days to collect accounts receivable.
  • Execute assigned tasks utilizing Best Practices and provide timely feedback to manager.
  • Ensure short paid invoices have been appealed timely to recoup as much as possible from adjustments and deductions.
  • Monitor and re-direct work flow when necessary.
  • Assist both internal and external clients.
  • Ensure documentation is consistently and continuously updated.
  • Make a positive impact on our cohesive and supportive high-performance team environment.
  • Support department reporting of EPLI and PEO clients.
  • Knowledge of the firm business process and business operations.
  • Knowledge of the firm’s goals and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years with a law firm administration.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Excel and ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Aderant legal billing software experience preferred but not required.
